Ranthambore Safari Booking System: What You Need to Know

The enchanting wilderness of Ranthambore National Park beckons wildlife enthusiasts and adventurers alike, offering glimpses of majestic tigers and a myriad of exotic fauna. However, to enhance the visitor experience and streamline operations, significant changes have been introduced to the safari booking system. In this comprehensive blog post, we will walk you through the latest updates and provide essential insights to ensure a seamless booking process for your next Ranthambore safari.

Advance Online Booking Timeline Revised: Previously, visitors could secure their safari slots up to 365 days in advance. However, the system has now been optimized to allow advance online booking only 90 days before the safari date. This adjustment aims to strike a balance between ensuring availability and preventing speculative bookings.

Timely Release of 90th-Day Slots: To facilitate fair access to safari bookings, slots for the 90th day will be released daily at noon. This ensures equal opportunity for all visitors to secure their preferred time slots, mitigating the rush hours during the Tatkal safari booking and the current quota booking slot for cantors.

Discontinuation of Waitlisted Ticket Process: In a bid to streamline operations and eliminate ambiguity, the waitlisted ticket process has been discontinued. All previously waitlisted tickets have been automatically cancelled, providing clarity and transparency to prospective visitors. The refunds for all waitlisted tickets will be processed soon.

Expansion of Tatkal Vehicle Quota:  To accommodate the growing demand for safari bookings, the quota of Tatkal vehicles has been increased from 15 to 20 vehicles per day. This enhancement aims to cater to spontaneous travellers and last-minute planners, offering greater flexibility in securing safari slots.

Introduction of New Check-In Process:  A new check-in process for both advance and Tatkal ticket holders is set to be introduced soon. This streamlined procedure will optimize visitor flow and enhance operational efficiency within the park premises, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience for all. Visitors will now have the flexibility to confirm their upcoming visit 1-2 days before the travel date.

Cancellation Policy:  In line with the revised booking system, a new cancellation policy has been implemented. Cancellations are not allowed within 3 days from the date of travel, ensuring better management of available slots and minimizing disruptions to other visitors' plans.

The revamped Ranthambore safari booking system represents a proactive approach towards enhancing visitor experience and optimizing park operations. By embracing these changes and staying informed about the latest updates, you can navigate the booking process with confidence and embark on an unforgettable wildlife adventure amidst the pristine landscapes of Ranthambore National Park.
